Tape Issues - format invalid
spent the whole day shooting in 720p 24 on my HD200 - while i was shooting the camera sporadically switched to DV 60i - and consequently i switched back to 24p i reviewed the tape just after this and everything looked fine - however after i got home and attempted to capture the days footage - i cannot access the tape. This is very annoying as the project is due monday! - and the actor i have playing lead is away tomorow and monday as well. What can i do - everytime i try to play back the tape i get a message saying 'DV 60 I invalid' - what can i dol; it is possible there may have been five secodns of dv 60i footage on the tape - is all lost?

Sounds like something's wrong with the metadata. I don't know if this will work, but you could try loading with DVHSCap and converting the mt2 files with MPEG Streamclip.
Good luck, Liam. |

Tyson I would recommend never mixing formats on the one tape. I think when I did it leaving playback on Auto worked or it could have been vica versa. Anyway glad you solved your problem.
