Tape stock
I know everyone has different ideas about what is the ideal tape for the JVC, so how about we do a poll, where everyone states their chosen tape stock and we can see which one comes out top?
For the record, I use Panasonic Ay-DVM65AMQ on my 101E, and so does my friend Tim, who has the same model... |

I use Sony HDV Digital Master tapes because I started with them. I've been told it's most important to stick to one tape stock . Whether that's right or not, I don't know. I haven't encountered any problems.

Sony DV Tapes
I'm using Sony Premium DV tapes in my JVC200. The only cost $3.50 USD each. I had planned on buying JCV HDV tapes - but the Sony Premium DV tapes work fine. I've shot with them for the past 4 weeks. No Problems yet.
