setting up the jvc hd201 with redrock m2
i read on here that some people have got this setup to produce good images.
Does anyone have any tips on how to get it setup; how to get the height of m2 and camera correct, which shims to use etc also when i tried to set it up the other day, with the weight of the m2 and lens, the rods started bending, has anyone else experienced this? focusing is also a pain, i havent managed to get sharp images yet. any suggestions welcome |

Have you tried the alternative imaging section of this site? (your post may be moved there by the mods) You should also try the M2 forum at the redrock site. I'm sure there will be loads of advice there. Andrew |

i had a quick look through both forums, most of the info seems to be about using the m2 with the hvx200

Taylor Wigton is the resident ProHD/M2 expert around here. He spent alot of time figuring out how to properly align the rig, and has shot some amazing stuff with it.
