problem with hue
Problem with hue flickering JCS HD110
E:\DAV_WEB_2007\upload problem video\index.html Here the footage I show With JVC’s HD110. Playback VTR is JVC’s BR-DV600U. The entire video has problem with color and black seem like greenish gray. IS this a problem with my camera setting? Is it my camera or is this problem with deck? All footage shot with JVC’s DV500 SD camera play back just fine on the same deck. TIA Kim W |

It looks like the culprit might be FAW "Full Auto White." You should always manually white balance or use a preset 3200K or 5600K.
The white balance seems to shift at the very moment a new object of a different colour enters the frame.

At first we thought it was white balance problem too . But it’s not. the white balance was in Manuel mode. It seems that footage from both HD110 & Panasonic’s DVX100 when played in JVC’s DV 600 VTR has this problem. But the same deck play footage from JVC’s DV500 camera just fine.
