HD201E Gamma Level UP=More Noise ???

Hello Professionalists !
I spent a lot of time with my Hd201 image settings. I notice if my gamma level is set to MAX (ON gamma FILMOUT) i can get nice pastel colour tones. Its only my personal opinion, BUT there is one big problem. With these settings I get a lot of noise . Is there any parametrs I should change to resolve this problem and save nice pastel colour tones? (Except set Gammal level to Normal or MIN:)
- And I'm still waiting for HD200/250 scene files -
Thanks
Tom.
