AV/C driver ?

just hooked up the hd200 fia fiwi to my pc.

This pc has NEVER been connected to the Internet - though I did not update it with MS updates regularly.

After "recogn. new hardware" the pc likes to install the "AV/C driver", but cant find it.

On my office pc (internet) it was installed once.

Any idea where / how to get the AV/C driver alone?

The AV/C driver is the default MS driver for videocams. I, generally, install it, but, I don't beleive you need to.

Its included with XP but not installed, when windows asks for the driver you need to go to the list of XP drivers & search for it. Its listed under JVC. If you get stuck search google for JVC AV/C driver & you will get better instructions then my pathetic effort here.

I found a thread where someone stated that the driver is RENAMED in original XP (not SP1 / SP2).

That seems to be the solution (I dont dare to change to SP2 for different reasons).

Thanks!
