BR-HD50 Emergency
Okay so I just got this deck a couple days ago and am working out the bugs with my blackmagic decklink card. When out of nowhere the deck switches itself to 50hz mode. I managed to work throught the menu until I could set it back to factory settings, but now I have an error code message on the screen that will not go away.
the code reads.... Repeat 00 8076 10 00 00 00 4c 00 07 EC BF FF 20 10 02 02 38 1C If anyone can help me I would be very grateful. Thanks, Cecil |

Cecil,
Call 1-800-582-5825 at 9AM EST tomorrow morning. We've heard mention in the forum of the "switching to PAL" problem with very early firmware, but this deck should be running the latest firmware (v1.06) if you just bought it recently. Firmware can be updated with a download and a SD card & reader. Please let us know the outcome of tech support.

Actually the firmware does need to be updated. I was planning on that this week. I'll do it tomorrow and see what happens.
Will that clear the error message? |
