Capturing JVC to the Mac

I was curious on what is the best way to capture uncompressed from FCP Pro for the JVC footage? If you know, speak to me as if I don't own a mac(because I don't) ( :

For uncompressed capture you will need a Blackmagic Decklink or AJA Kona card.

For all camera models except the HD250, you will require an analog Y-R-B input on the card. The HD250 has a HD-SDI out, so only a HD-SDI input is required.

You will also want a RAID array for HD uncompressed streams.

These are all the same requirements for uncompressed capture, regardless of Windows or Mac.
