Plugs on PAL-model
Hi, if I order a HD111E (European PAL model) in a US Store, would it have American or European electrical plugs? And how would I know for sure, this seems never to be mentioned in the specs?

if you are planning on using the standard jvc batteries with charger I would be very surprised if the adaptor isnt switchable. 110-240v Every battery charger sold with cameras comes with switchable adaptors. What you wont have, possibly is a plug adaptor but they cost 2p on ebay!
I just bought a 201e...its a much improved camera, would be a shame to buy what is essentially an outdated camera. Big downside, costs more and no batteries supplied. The e model comes with Idx mount so expensive batteries and expensive charger (although cheaper if you buy from the states like I did, the 4 way simultaneous charger is half price in the US) |
