Lense issue
Hi
I rented a HD100 as a second to my HD101 last Saturday to film a conference (3rd camera was a Sony Z1). I was surprised to see that the lense (I think) on the rented HD100 seemed to be better (resolution, sharpness) than my HD101. Settings were the same on both cameras (True Colour). Any idea why this might be, did they change the lense at some point? Also any suggestions for a lense upgrade for documentary and conference work? Thanks Trevor |

Did you backfocus both cameras?

Trevor, did you try switching the lens? Maybe you could return the rented camera with your lens... :)

Hi
Yes back focus was ok. I can't say that the temptation hadn't crossed my mind! Fortunately my conscience is of greater value to me than a lense! Trevor |

But did you try the rented lense on your camera? You may have a defective one.
