What are folk using to edit 720p50/720p60?
I'll have an HD250 in a few weeks and have been watching to see if anyone has an editing solution.

I don't have one, but I imagine the DVHSCap/MPEG Streamclip workflow into FCP still will work since you can select the editing timebase in FCP. But I cannot verify this since I don't have the camera.

I'm on Liquid Chrome and it works without a problem on 1394 or component (uncompressed)...

Hi Steve,
recently a JVC sales rep visited me with a HD250 and wondered if VEGAS could capture / edit 720p60. We hooked it up by firewire, tried capturing and it worked perfectly. As well as editing does. I guess JVC does not mention it (read the HDV pdfs from JVC...) for good reason: There is not such a BIG step up from HD250 to the SONY XDCAM HD pdw-f330 (XDCAM Proxy/File import/viewer is integrated in Vegas). I think JVC does not like to talk about competitors software... Regards ULI |
