Update on the DR100

Hey, I've been wanting to get the DR100 (100GB) but I'm, holding back until some of the previous issues are resolved. I hope someone can tell me they have been.

From what I recall there were issues with transferring 24p from the DR100 to FCP5. Is that still the case? Also, playback in 24p seemed to be an issue? I only shoot 24p and want the work-flow to work with my Final Cut Pro.

Any insights as to those or other issues being resolved?

Thanks

Brian,

Apple has annouced that FCP 5.1.2 supports HDV 720, 24P and 25P.

I must also say that I enjoyed your short, "Twist of Fate."

I know about FCP supporting natively with the HD100. I was more concerned if the DR100 directly is supported in FCP when you transfer 24p.

See Tim Dashwood's post #7. It looks like 720/24 QT support is coming soon for the DR 100.

I was hoping someone knew if there had been an update since that post. Still waiting to buy until that issue has been solved. Thanks
