I would like to get some opinions on this deck for use as an editing source for and NLE

we haven't sold any of the new version of the JVC DV/HD/DVD combo's yet, but they seem to be very similar to the discontinued SR-DVM70US which we've sold in the past.

The SR-DVM70US was hit or miss when attempting to use with NLE's.

My tech was able to get them to work on our demo system in most instances, but we had some clients that were unable to get the drivers right.

I'd suggest that you borrow one first from your local dealer for a test run.

They work perfectly as stand alone devices.
