Free steak dinner for hd100-110 owner in SF Bay Area!

Any owners of hd110 or 100 that live in the SF Bay Area?

I'd love to pick your brain and see some footage. Half day rate? Steak dinner?

I will be purchasing soon and would need to see some run and gun test footage of 24p and 30p.

Let me know if you're out there!

I'm all for meeting new friends this way... but... you could just as easily rent the camera for about the same money and see for yourself what it can do.

The last time I checked, which was a while ago, the major rental house in SF, Gasser, didn't carry HDV anything. Our only choice is to go to NAB or DV expo, or find someone and offer a steak dinner.

Julian- since then we have already made the decision to purchase 2 HD200's. Initially I wanted to see if the HD110 at 720p30 would cut it for our needs.

The re-engineering of the encoder on the HD200 is what did it. We shoot in low light and often pump up the gain so the new encoder should be more foregiving.

At least it better be!

So I guess the steak dinner is now off the table.
