HD-1 a good companion for HD100?
Hi,
I'm using an HD100 and I am thinking about getting a used HD1 as a backup camera and capture deck for my video business. Is this a wise choice? will the HD100 tapes capture through the HD1 via firewire without any problem? I like the fact that it's 720/30p so if I use this camera, I won't have to render it with my hd100 footage. Let me know your thoughts! |

As a deck it'll be fine (just won't work in 24p and 25p), but as a camera I'm guessing there will be a whole lot of difference... The format might be the same, but it's 1 CCD, older encoder and not even manual focus if I remember correcly...
