Hd100 and Firestore 3

has anyone tried the firestore 3 with the v mount on the hd 100? Or is it even possible? I like the idea of being able to use the camera battery for the power.

I've never tried the FS-3, but I'd imagine it would work as expected. Of course, the FS-3 would only be able to interface with the HD100 in DV mode. I doubt Focus has any plans to create a HDV update for the FS-3 - but I could be wrong.

Hey Tim,

I've been trying to get a new DRHD100 and I'm told it's unavailable. Do you know this to be the case? Have you heard anything about this?

I'm in need of a DTE drive for HDV (not SD) from the HD100... We edit in Premiere Pro 2 with Cineform Aspect HD. What are my options for purchase today?

David,

From what I have read on this forum... finding one in stock may be an issue. I'll pass on the Ebay route.

A large number of DR-HD100 units were received recently in the U.S. from the factory, so the oldest back-orders have now been filled. JVC still has a few back-orders left to fill, but these are more recent orders.

Regards, Carl

HD100 and Firestore FS4

Has anyone used the HD100 with an FS4? Just the plain old FS4. Will it record HDV as well as DV? Does it work with FCP5?
