Hot Pixels & Warranty

My HD100U-A just started showing 3 hot pixels. one that really stands out and 2 much smaller ones.

I'm dissapointed that these have shown up so soon. I had a GL1 that did this a month after the 1 year warranty was up. Hot pixels are a major pet peeve for me.

The camera is 6 months old, is it still under warranty for hot pixel repair?

I know I can go in the service menu to mask it out, but what really bugs me is that if I use -9db gain, the masking will not work there and the hot pixel will show If i happen to need some gain. -9db gain is very clean on this camera and it would really suck to see a hot pixel show itself on any productions I do.
