How much does the IDX kit weight?
Can someone give me a rough guestimate of the approximate weight of the IDX battery kit? Not the camera, just the Kit that was part of the promo.
Thanks. |

I can weigh it for you in the morning when I get to the office, if no one has done so by then.
Off the top of my head I have no idea.

Do you mean the whole kit (charger, bracket and 2 batteries) or the bracket and a single battery mounted on the camera?
A single battery is 1.16lbs. The bracket I'm sure is no more than that (I have the IDX kit on my HD100) Approx 2lbs additional weight when on the camera. Sorry I can't be more specific. Andrew |

The IDX it weighs 1lb 15oz on the dot. That is the E7s battery and mount that goes on the camera.
