Looking for Los Angeles rental advice

I was hoping that some of you might be able to give advice on where I might rent a 13x lens for the HD 100.

The two places in L.A. that from what I understand are allowed to be posted in these forums are:

Abel Cine Tech
http://www.abelcine.com/store/home.php

Express Video Supply (EVS)
http://www.evsonline.com/

EVS has an active rental department for HDV and a large stock in their retail store. I wandered around in Abel Cine about a half hour, and I'm not sure what they do. People say they are very nice, but I coudn't find anybody to talk to.

Both places are in the North East end of Burbank. (EVS may be across the border in Glendale, but I'm not sure.)

Abel Cine Tech is a well established motion picture sales and rental house in NYC and LA, that at one time specialized in Aaton sales and rentals. In the last few years they've moved into the lower end DV business as well.

Understand that places like Abel and Birns & Sawyer get quite a few lookie loos with no intention of buying or renting, and that the people there sometimes have a hard time differentiating between the real customers and the people just there to gawk at gear.

Jack walker,
Thanks for the leads, but I don’t see that lens being offered in either one off their rentals departments… I'll call and make sure.

Anyone else have suggestions…..? Nate?
