Auto Gain disables manual iris????
I just got my HD100 and am shocked to find out that using ALC disables the manual iris control. Is there a way around this?

Momentary auto iris button
While ALC does disable manual iris controls there is no need to disable this or find a way around it. Check out your Momentary auto iris button (p.10 of your manual) it engages the ALC when pressed while letting you do the fine tuning manually.
I hope this helps Michael Anderson |

Are you sure that button engages ALC? I think that it only sets the iris to auto when kept pressed. Correct me if I'm wrong.

No you are correct. what i meant to say was that it engages auto iris while pressed. Thank you for the clarification.
