Why does HD100 default to 1/24 sec. in DV
Hey everyone!
Anyone know why the HD100 defaults to a 1/24 sec. shutter speed when shooting 24p in SD mode? It defaults to 1/48 for HD mode. Isn't 1/48 closer to what film cameras use? Thanks Kelly |

Yes, 1/48th is the shutter speed for a film camera running at 24fps with a 180 degree shutter (which is standard)
Why they got it right on one preset and not on the other I'll always wonder myself. Gotten burned by it too!
