Firewire

Got the camera today, I'm curious as to what kind of firewire I need.

The cable you need is 6 PIN to 6 PIN. Both ends should be the "bigger" size and look the same. Make sure you follow all the directions about connecting firewire cables when the camera is turned off.

Not necessarily 6 pin to 6 pin. The HD100 has a 6 pin out, but the other side, obviously, will be connecting to whatever you're capturing. I have a 4 pin firewire connector on my laptop, so I have a 6-to-4 pin.
