Thanks to Texas Tapeworks and Carl Hicks at JVC

I've had a few issues with my HD100 and the Scott Cantrel (the vendor) and Carl Hicks of JVC gave the best customer support and service I've ever experienced for any product of any kind ever. And considering my age (no need for specifics), and the obscene number of various toys and gear I've purchased over the years, that's impressive.

Brian, thank you for the complimentary words for TapeWorks and JVC!
I just tracked your IDX Pwr Promo which JVC shipped out yesterday via Next Day Air Service, and your kit has been delivered to your niece!

Looks like you are all taken care of!

See what I mean guys? Scott and Carl even know my niece now! That's service!

I'll take this opportunity to also thank Ken Freed, though he wasn't involved in my particular problem. He's also very helpful and helped me when I had issues with my DV500 a few years back. Ken Freed is also hilarious, at least from his posts, check out his comments on buying different tape stock on this board. Classic!

Agreed.

JVC Support is among the best ever. They deserve an industry award of excellence for this.

When I needed assistance, after posting on this forum JVC Support Called ME!

That NEVER happens with any other company.
