Black Artifacts

Hi All -

I am new to the HD100 and shot a scene with the normal settings in 720/30p. I think, however, I had the skin detail set lower.

I noticed a lot of noise on the black suit of my narrator. This is the second time I noticed heavy noise on black clothing. What causes this and how do I make sure it doesn't happen again?

I'd hate to have to reshoot this. Any help or assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!

oops...

Nevermind about my question. I found a setting in Media Player that was causing the footage to seem like max black stretch was used.

I turned it off and everything is fine. Disaster adverted. :)
