JVC tripod plate VS IDX adaptor

Hi,
I use the JVC quick release plate on my 101 and have noticed that there is a small amount of wobble, due to the fact that the camera only locks to the front of the plate. Under most circumstances this is not a problem however I sometimes have to shoot timelapses, and any movement looks like an earthquake by the time the timelapse is done. Although there is nowhere on the camera which could attach to the rear of the plate, I notice that my IDX adaptor rests just over the rear lug of the plate, so, has anyone considered making an adaptor which could fit onto the bottom of the IDX adaptor, to create a firm lock to the plate?
