Importing HD100 footage

I have an HD100 and plan on purchasing a couple of the HD200's when they are available. My question is that I'm switching over to a MAC platform and FCP 5.1. Can someone tell me if this would work for an HDV editing solution.

Dual 2.5Ghz G5
G-raid firewire drive
JVC BR50 deck
JVC hd100
Black Magic - Decklink HD Extreme
Betacam deck.

My goal is to be able to edit in HDV 720p for the HD100 in FCP and then output to betacam SD. I would then master an HDV copy for future comsiderations. Does this seem like an efficient workflow? Is an AJA card better or just more expensive? I am a total newbie to MAC.

BTW, thanks everyone for all the great tips and tricks on this awesome camera.

I think this setup would work great. I use the Kona LH because it offers analog HD/SD and SDI-HD. Keep in mind, the 24p support is still not there natively in FCPro.
