My LCD has lines around almost all edges (even with sharpening turned down to -7)
link to the image Is this normal? The captured footage seems fine... it appears only in the LCD [excuse the moire and the darkness]

-7 sharpening is still pretty sharp. You may want to move down to minimum if you feel things are too sharp. |

phew! thanks....I would have thought everything abnormal would have turned ZERO as factory default. Like the MIC, which needs M+48 phantom, but is set to something else... so I was struggling for 2 days without audio (still i havent figured out how to hear audio thro my earpiece)
looks like we almost have to read the manual to operate the camera ;)

I have let people who shoot with other cameras try our HD100 and laugh when they freak out and say "oh my God this looks like crap through the view finder, should it looks this rough"? Only to find they have turned peaking all the way up. When I show them the setting they admit that I had them a bit worried I threw my money away on a low res camera. hehe Hey Ram, you also have an audio level for the ear-piece up with the peaking and VF settings, are you sure it's not turned down too low or even off?
