Got it - After months of saving

Well, I'm the happy proud owner of a brand spanking new hd-101. My deepest thanks and gratitude to all of you at DVi and all the contributors who helped me figure out the ins and outs of the camera before hand, so that I could plunk down my tens of thousands of Chinese Yuan with confidence.

I know there's a new one out in October but I just don't care - I'm so happy with the images from this camera I can't say enough - fantastic!

I've got a pic up at my website - hopefully this will give all of you cameraphiles a good laugh.

I will post footage and stills soon enough, as well as tips and tricks as I get really super comfortable with the camera.

Alexei Welcome and it's great to see that even though the new products are out you don't care! That's a great attitude to bring into the ProHD world.

Cool congratulations you do good work with the camera. Although I haven't slept next to my camera yet.

Congratulations Alexei.

Don't worry about the new models. The time to buy is when you need it. You're gonna have a lot of fun with the camera.
