IDX E-7S Endura Lithium-Ion / HD100
Specs for IDX E-7S Endura Lithium-Ion V-Mount Battery are 14.4V/71 Wh
If the HD100 is rated at 7W power consumption am I wrong in thinking that the battery powering only the camera would be able to get approx 8hours out of it? Anyone have this battery pack that uses it only to power the camera - care to comment? Thanks. |

The JVC is rated at 17W, not 7W. Therefore I would expect at least 4 hours out of a 71Wh battery. My 88Whr batteries give me around 4.5 to 5 hours before getting too low on voltage.

17w !!! ooops!
I'm used the PD-170s low power consumption & 8hour battery packs for $58 at Battery Values... and I guess I'm spoiled by that. Do they make anything bigger than 88Whr for this camera? I could find any. |
