Audio level
I have couple of question for you guys, I hope somebody can answer to me.
1, Somebody can explaine to me, why this camera's audio level is much higher the my older camera's (Pana F-250, JVC KY-27, Sony DSR-300a) No problem with quality, just the level is higher. On the camera's level meter is perfect, but soonest I start editing, I realized the footage's level is much higher. 2, I need keep the level like this, or I need lowered on post? I'm "just" wedding videographer, so theese final projects never ended up at television station, only at homes. Please let me know. Well, if you want more head room - and thus a lower standard record level - you can set that in the menu (-20 dB, that's the professional standard - and thereby the same as all professional equipment). If you don't need that much headroom, or the dynamic range of the microphones isn't all that well, set it to the consumer standard (-12 dB)
