This is my first...

...day on this forum. So far what I have read has been very informative. I am seriously eyeballing the HD100, and have been for a little while. I am thrilled to have found a forum where the people seem to be very helpful, and while they love their rigs, they are also up front about it's shortcomings and ways to either work through or around some issues.

I do have a couple of "stupid" questions. I realize once you have been around you know the abbrevations for certain issues, but I am unfamilar with the terms "CA" and "SSE". I have assumed that "CA" refers to camera aliasing, but you know what they say about making assumptions. If you all could straighten me out on this I would be greatful.

I look forward to not only learning but hopefully contributing to this forum!

Hi Jeremy, welcome to DV Info Net.

CA = chromatic aberration
SSE = split screen effect

Just keep browsing through all of the existing discussions for more info about these.
