Beeping Sound/Record Lamp at DVinfo.net

As the battery drains and the tape ends, the camera seems to do this warning beep... How do I turn this off? Under what menu/option etc. Also, how do I turn off the red recording lamp so that I may do serreptiious recordings?

To turn off the beep: Menu - OTHERS - ALARM VR LEVEL

To turn off the lamp (tally): Menu - OTHERS - FRONT TALLY

Check page 77 on the manual.
