HDVxDV Issue

Thanks Tim for refering me to the process with HDVxDV

I downloaded the trial and followed your steps and what ended up happening was I got the clip exported out of HDVxDV to find it really distorted, is this normal? Then I went into cinema tools and converted it to 23.98 and then imported into FCP and besides the watermark and this HUGE distortion problem in which the lower third of the clip seems to do this weird blending effect where the pixels in that horizontal line get strecthed all the way down to the bottom of the frame, is this normal, what's the problem? Am I experiencing this because I'm using the trial version?
