I had placed an order for more swift anton bauer mount battries, for the GYHD100, these also work with the Panasonic
DVCpro cameras, with my normal highly reliable local dealer,
even after month of constant reminder there was no answer.
Finally today he addmitted that he has been told not to sell
any non-V mount that is Sony mount battries, even though
the swift ones have nothing to do with Sony. Is somebody scared of the competion here. Forcing a dealer not to sell
any product that can used by a competing brand, speaks volumes about insecurity.

Is he and IDX dealer or AB dealer? My dealer is AB, but also Swit. In fact he recommended Swit for their low-cost and high-reliability. BTW, he is also a Sony dealer.

He is Swift dealer, which makes it more surprising, I think he has been offrered a big a Sony dealership, and this is one of those conditions, not to sell anything which supports a rival format.
