GY101EJVCPROHDHDVHD25/50PTOFCP5...annnnd breathe....

Hiya, Just wondering if anyone here can guide me towards a solution to a small but rather worrying hiccup iv'e encountered...
I have just shot a large job, 12 tapes worth for a client. To shoot i used HDV- HD25P as my record format. Why u ask?...i told the client to shoot 30p but they insisted saying 25p would cut better with older DVCAM stuff.....argh..... now they want to cut it yesterday!
So my predicament. How the ... do i get my tapes into final cut 5? Is LumiereHD possibly an option to convert? Dunno much about this stuff... Any news of an 'immediate' update from apple? And, whats the go with cameras surpassing the software required to use them? My new camera is useless if i cant cut the pictures....
Please tell me there is a solution here......an easy and fast one preferably! Still trying to get my head around this whole codec stuff.....
Any ideas greatly appreciated....
