GY HD100 blue & yellow color shift
I use the camera about once a month.
while video taping I started getting a yellow halo around shapes, similar to a 3D effect, now there is a blue edge starting to form. I have checked everything. Its not the monitor I edit from, I can see it in the LCD and eye piece while recording and playback. record to hard drive through firewire. I suspect the prisum in front of the sensors is loose? I have tried to go through every menu to try to make changes, no help, reset menus to default, loaded 3 different scene files. anyone else have this problem? |

Re: GY HD100 blue & yellow color shift
Sorry John. Just saw this.
It does sound like the CCDs are separating from the prism block, although it seems a little weird that complimentary (CMY) colours instead of primary (RGB) colours are involved. Given what the value of an HD100 is these days, it may or may not be worth taking it in to have a tech look at it.
