Other camcorders that can upload hd1 footage? at DVinfo.net

Hey guys! A long time ago I had access to the old jvc hd1 so I took some footage that I really liked but I couldn't even afford a computer that I could upload the footage to. Now years later I still have the tapes but no access to an old jvc. I once tried playing it on other hdv camcorders a d they would play on the lcd screen and if I plugged directly into a monitor but wouldn't upload into the computer. I know this has something to do with camcorders not being forced to be backwards compatible to 720p footage but has there ever been a list of camcorders that do upload hd1 footage? I even looked on eBay thinking I could pick up an hd1 cheap and was shocked by how expensive this fossil still is.

Any advice for other camcorders or other workarounds? Thanks guys:)
