Budget battery plate
hi,
Needing an larger external battery and plate. I'm going through 10 batteries in an average day. Anyone recommend anything? Cheapest plate i can find is near 180 (uk price!) Similar sony ones are 50!!! thanks andy |

Try Global Media Pro...$400 (3x batteries (4 hrs each) + dual charger (4hrs charging 2 batteries)).
If that's too expensive, then make your own batteries, but be careful to keep the voltage and current flow constant. Before I bought my GMP batteries, I used a diesel generator to power my camera via a UPS (how crazy is that?). The experiment didn't last 2 days, and the APC UPS didn't either.

Thanks, I was wanting to buy items as i go. As I've other investments to be made at the present time.
Does anyone know if these plates fit? Everything i find is always 'sony' fitment!!! SWIT S-7000S V-Lock Battery Mount Plate - Proactive IDX A-NH2E - V-Mount Adaptor Plate for NP/BP Battery Holders - Proactive I've found some batteries and chargers i want, so its just the plate. ;-/ thanks Andrew |

I've managed to get a plate, but now looking at batteries. So many to choose from. Does anyone know if these are any good?
