I've got no blue
My gyhd111 has come back from being on loan (yes I know) and it looks to me like the blue element of the picture is missing. The picture seems to be made up of just red and green. Anybody any ideas?

1. restore default settings on the camera.
2. Is it on the LCD or on the final footage on tape? Try connecting via firewire and recording data. Is it still there? Is it on all three? 3. If yes, take it in for repairing. One of the CCDs might be blown (the blue one?)

Sareesh, yes it is on the tape and I have tried resetting everything so you're probably right about the ccd. I just hoped it might be something else. It's gone to the shop. Thank you for your help.

I had the exact same problem about a month after I received my new HD200.
Missing (intermittently) just the blue channel in the viewfinder, so it looked like night vision. All colors on the LCD screen and the video output were correct. I ended up shipping it back for warranty repair. Here is what it looked: http://zabcia.ca/pics/vf1f2.wmv
