MR-HD100 won't copy files to my Mac
When I try to copy clips from my MR-HD100 onto either my MacBook Pro or an external LaCie, it copies most of the clips, then I get an "The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient privileges for some of the items" prompt, my 'puter or LaCie locks up in copy mode, it drops the MR-HD100 and I have to hard restart both my external drives and the MR.
This happens both with FAT files and UDF, and whether I copy just the .mov files or the .xml files as well. I can import them directly to my FCP7, but I have to use Media Manager to keep them from going off-line when I unplug the MR. Any thoughts? |

You should be able to set the external drive to "ignore ownership on this volume" so there are no permissions issues.

Thanks, guys. How would I "fix permissions," and on which device?
