how do you display timecode on hd 100 series cams.
Hi All,
Would someone be kind enough to tell me how to have visable timecode appear on my recordings? I have been asked to produce some work that needs a visable timecode so would really appreciate it if someone can help me out a little here. I have scanned the forum but havnt had any luck and i am out of town so dont have access to my manual. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Regards Simon. |

Need a bit more clarification here:
- are you looking for a Timecode Window burn so that your client can pick clips by viewing Timecode superimposed on a DVD or VHS (or other media); or - are you looking for a Time/Date stamp written into the image for insurance or legal purposes If you are looking for the former (a Timecode window burn) this is possible only by making a dub out of the Analog outputs on your camera, after turning the Display ON for the Analog output (see your manual - I have 200ub's and it is likely to be different) If you are looking for a Time/Date stamp to be written permanently into the video you record, there should be an option in the menu system. Again, I own 200ub's so refer to your manual. Display is NEVER output via Firewire.
