Tighten a Loose Handle?
I guess my camera is beginning to show its age... The handle of my 200 has developed a small rock to it. It's nothing detrimental now, but I am worried it may get worse. I tightened the few screws around it, but to no avail...
Anyone have any suggestions short of taking it in to the shop? |

Hi Taylor,
In order to tighten the handle the body has to be opened. So, the short answer is that it should be taken into a JVC Professional repair facility or an authorized local servicing dealer. The process shouldn't take too long for someone that has worked on the camcorder previously. I hope this helps. Best of luck in having the handle tightened. Craig

My handle is getting a little loose also(slight rocking) and the cam comes in at almost 18 lbs fully loaded, is it likely to get worse, or perhaps fall off at some point :)
