Inexpensive wide-angle lens for GY-HD110U
I'm looking for some inexpensive telephoto lenses for the JVC GY-HD110U. I had heard from someone that you can find one for around $300, but I haven't been able to find it yet. What options do I have? I'd prefer to not have to get some sort of converter if possible.

Converters are your only option in that price range and they won't be to good. Expect to pay $800-900 for a decent zoom through WA adapter like a Century. The 16x9 is slightly cheaper..

What about something like the WCV-82SC? Anyone know of any samples of this online?

Hey Evan I have the Fujinon wide angel converter for the HD110 and I think I paid about 600 for it, but it really is clean and helpfull. I usually just leave it on the camera and forget about it.

Do you have any samples online of the converter? I'd love to see what sort of results you get with it.

FYI, convertors are zoom through and adapters are not. You will pay more for a convertor. However, I bought a schenider optics convertor off ebay for $250. It lists for $1995.00 on the schenieder optics site.
