Some details from Czech JVC dealer
Today I recieved an email with details from Czech JVC dealer regarding GY-HD100, just few more information is there, but still I will translate technical spec. to you:
GY-HD100 - compact design, available to operate from shoulder or handheld, weights about 2.5 kg (5.5 pounds) - 3x1/3" CCD in 16:9 w/ 1280x720 effective pixels - intechangable lens, standard 17x lens optimized for HD - adapter for 1/2" lens - can record to HDD - hq signal processing - formats: PAL 4:3 & 16:9 ? DV PAL progressive w/ 25Hz - DV rec. psf __ PAL progressive w/_50Hz_- DV, HDV MPEG-2 __ HDTV 720 24p pro filmovou produkci ? HDV MPEG-2 __ HDTV 720 25p, 30p for film production ? HDV MPEG-2 - 2x XLR inputs - lots of accessories - price: under 6000 EUR BR-HD50 - DV / HDV switchable - DVCAM playback - 6pin firewire - DV and MiniDV cassetes - formats available: 720p/24/25/30 and 576/50p in_HDV 576i/50 and 25fps in_DV - integrated HDV decoder por conversion of 720P MPEG footage to 1080/50i or 576/50i for control output - HDMI outpu - 2MPEG audio channels for HDV and 4 PCM audio channels for DV - price: under 4000 EUR Hope there is at least some new information (prices etc) for you! I just translated the email i recieved for JVC, haven't seen any official info around. |

Yes Chris, looks so. The lens that looks like professional 1/2" or 2/3" lens makes it very big, but I guess when the cam will be out and you will comapre this 1/3" lens to any other that is used nowdays with ENG cameras, it will be half the size or so.
Anyway, can't wait to see the wide 13x lens! |
