Live capture with 110
Hi guys.
I'm having a bit of trouble capturing from my 110 live into FinalCut 6 from the firewire at 24p. I know it must be some settings I've got wrong but can't seem to figure it out. If I have the device control set to HDV and the capture set to HDV, FC will only capture 1 frame, then give me the continue to "searching for tape" message. If I take the HDV control setting and put it to uncontrolled device, I get a message saying you have to have the device as HDV to capture HDV. I tried uncontrolled device setting and ProRes fro the capture, but still no luck. I know i must being doing something stupid here but can;t figure it out. |

You won't be able to do that with Final Cut. You need a program like VeeScope Live.
Product - Veescope Live: Chroma Key, Green Screen, Blue Screen, Vectorscope, Waveform Monitor. You can download a trial version |
