Just experienced my first drop out with HD200U
Should I be worried? I have a wedding tomorrow. Is this more of a tape problem or a camera issue? My camera is still pretty new. I normally use Panisonic AMQ HDV/DV tapes.
The one tape that I had a problem on was on a older panisonic tape that B&H has discontinued ( i guess I should have done the same). Steve |

The MQ tapes are notorious for drop outs when used with JVC HDV. They are fine with DV.
As always I only recommend JVC's ProHD stock and to use a head cleaner before any big job.
