Premiere CS4 + GY-HD110U-X

I'm been going crazy over this the last day. I can import DV fine into CS4. But when I shot 720 24p I just can't get the ingest to go. Perhaps it's a known issue between the Sony HVR-23AU Deck via 1394 to Premiere?

If I wanted to just shoot a safe HD setting, any recommendation other than the 720 24p.

I'm pretty sure the Sony HVR-23AU is incapable of reading 720p HDV. Try with the camera.

I was going to attempt it with the camera next. I know on the Sony deck is plays back just find on it's little 3" screen on the front. My bad the deck is actually a Sony HVR-M25AU.

Deck:
HDV Native Progressive HDV recording &playback
Switchable recording & playback
-HDV 1080 60i/50i, 1080/24P,25P,30P,
-DVCAM 60i/50i, DV SP 60i/50i

50 points to you Mr. Dashwood. Hooked up the 110U and exported directly from camera via 1394 720 24P into Premieres HDV 720P 24p preset. Worked great.
