Value of a GY-HD250 and where to sell?
Hi all. I have two JVC GY-HD250 cameras and love them but I need to sell at least one of them. It has 97 Drum hours on it and is in pristine condition. It has the standard Fujinon ProHD lens and the Anton Bauer battery mount. Can anyone give me an idea of what a reasonable asking price for the camera might be and where you'd recommend selling it (other than ebay)? Any input is most appreciated. I am selling it because I have a TV show coming up to shoot and I need to shoot it with the XDCAM system and I don't have the cash right now to keep both of these and buy one of those. :) I may end up selling both JVC GY-HD250 cameras. The second one has a Fujinon 18x Pro lens on it.

You can post it for sale here on dvinfo.net in the "Private Classifieds" section (near the bottom of the main page).
On this site, you might give the camera a 25-30% discount as an asking price, then include in the posting that you will consider offers. Also be sure to list any extras or add-ons that you will include. This can make a given camera more attractive. It would also be a good idea to check B&H to see what the camera is selling for new. I believe the 250s are popular in small studios, and I can imagine there are enough potential buyers to keep the resale price sensible (and not ridiculously low). |

Thank you for the information Jack. I didn't even know there was a classifieds here. :) I'll definitely do that. Thanks again!
