flip out LCD loose
anyone experience the flip out LCD on the camera suddenly
much easier to move and kinda loose on the hinge? I just got my cam back from an associate using it and now the LCD is pretty loose. It was always very firm before. anyone know how to fix this? |

I had the same experience once with a Canon XM1 fold out screen and was able to successfully tighten it up. With that Canon camera it was a matter of getting inside the flip-out monitor casing. Then at the camera end there were bolts/ screws that could be adjusted. BE WARNED, THIS MAY NOT BE THE CASE WITH your JVC! However, if you feel like having a very careful look, You would need an X headed jewellers screwdriver. There are two monitor casing X headed screws on the leading edge of the JVC GY-HD 201E flip-out screen, and two more on the hinge end. They are PROBABLY how you remove the screen casing and the solution MAY be reviled. |
