It would probably be able to go IDX or AB, but the real question is whether this product will make it to production now that the XDCAM EX KA-MR100G has been announced. We haven't heard anything about the MR-HD200 since NAB and 4th quarter is coming soon.
Personally I prefer the idea of recording to cheap and widely available SDHC cards with the MR-HD200, but JVC has made a smart move licensing XDCAM EX from Sony because it allows direct integration into existing XDCAM EX broadcast pipelines. The form factors and interface look very similar so I wonder if the MR100G is actually an evolutionary step beyond the MR-HD200?
